Idaho Pasture Pigs are a fairly new breed of pig.  They are a combination of Duroc,

Old Berkshire, and Kune Kune.  They are considered a grazing pig and do not require

much grain.  They are a gentle breed with sweet personalities.  They are smaller in

size and easier to work with than the standard pig.  Idaho Pasture Pigs do not root as much

as other pigs when given the proper minerals.  Idaho Pasture Pig sows should mature

to 250-350 pounds and boars should mature to 350-450 pounds.  They should reach butcher

weight of 225-275 pounds by 10 months.
