Idaho Pasture Pigs
Idaho Pasture Pigs are a fairly new breed of pig. They are a combination of Duroc,
Old Berkshire, and Kune Kune. They are considered a grazing pig and do not require
much grain. They are a gentle breed with sweet personalities. They are smaller in
size and easier to work with than the standard pig. Idaho Pasture Pigs do not root as much
as other pigs when given the proper minerals. Idaho Pasture Pig sows should mature
to 250-350 pounds and boars should mature to 350-450 pounds. They should reach butcher
weight of 225-275 pounds by 10 months.

Dexter Cattle
Dexters are smaller breed of cattle. They were first introduced to America in the early 1900's. They are very docile and hardy breed that can be used for meat, milk, or working. Their are three colors of Dexters which include black, red, and dun. They can be horned or polled.
Belfair Cattle
Belfair cattle are a fairly new breed of cattle. They are a combination of 50% Dexter and 50% Jersey. They are very docile and hardy cattle that are bred to withstand hot or cold weather. Belfairs are considered a dual purpose homestead cow. They make the perfect cow for the small homestead.
